What I'm building

Working on mythryx.ai — my personal portfolio and dev blog. Right now I'm focused on content infrastructure: MDX-driven pages, better SEO, and making the site feel less like a template and more like a place I actually maintain.

Also experimenting with small HTML5 games embedded directly in the portfolio. The goal is to have interactive demos that load instantly — no app stores, no frameworks, just canvas and vanilla JS.

What I'm learning

Deep-diving into Next.js 15 and React 19 — server components, the App Router, and how to think about data flow when most of your rendering happens on the server.

Getting more comfortable with TypeScript beyond the basics. Generics, discriminated unions, and making the type system do real work instead of just annotating.

What I'm exploring

The intersection of AI and creative tools. Using Claude as a collaborator for code, writing, and thinking through architecture decisions. Trying to figure out where AI assistance genuinely saves time vs. where it just feels productive.

Reading about indie web principles — owning your content, building in public, and the value of personal sites in an era of platforms.

What I'm reading

A mix of technical blogs, design thinking, and whatever rabbit holes the internet pulls me into. Currently into posts about developer experience, the indie web movement, and game design philosophy.
