AI Awareness Sessions for Teams
Your team is already using AI. The question is whether they're using it in a way that protects your data, your clients, and your business.
This is a 90-minute on-site session that gets everyone on the same page: practical AI usage, a decision framework for what's safe to share, and a policy your leadership can actually adopt.
No slide-deck marathon. No fear-mongering. Just the working knowledge a careful team needs to use AI without giving the wrong things away.
What's Included
90 minutes, on-site
A single 90-minute working session at your office. No slide-deck marathon — practical, conversational, built around your team and what they actually do.
Real tools, real tasks
Live walkthrough of how to use AI for the work your team is already doing — drafting, summarizing, research, data clean-up — and where it falls over.
The Three Questions framework
A simple decision tool your team can apply to any task before they paste anything into an AI. Public, internal, regulated, personal — and what stays out.
What a usable AI policy looks like
We end with a one-page draft your leadership can actually adopt. Not legalese — clear rules people will follow because they understand why.

The Three Questions Framework
The framework your team will leave with. Run any task through these three questions before you paste anything into an AI tool, and the right answer for that task — cloud LLM, local model, or no AI at all — usually surfaces on its own.
What's the data?
(public / internal / regulated / personal)
Before you ask AI to do anything, name the data. The answer changes which tools are safe to use and which ones aren't.
What's the task?
(brainstorm / draft / summarize / reason over sensitive content)
Brainstorming with public information is not the same as summarizing a confidential client file. Match the task to a tool you trust for that task.
What's the exposure?
(does it train the model / get logged / leave your jurisdiction / persist after deletion)
Where does this data actually go, and for how long? If you can't answer that, you don't yet know whether you should be using the tool.
That's the entire framework. It's deliberately small. The point isn't to memorize a 40-page policy — it's to give every person on your team three questions they can run in their head in under thirty seconds, before any data leaves the building.
Who This Is For
Small business owners, team leads, and decision-makers whose teams are already using AI without any formal guidance — and who want to get ahead of it before something confidential ends up somewhere it shouldn't. Especially good for professional services, healthcare admin, accounting, legal, trades, and any organization that handles client data and doesn't have an in-house AI lead.
Why trust me with this?
I think about information risk for a living, and I build AI tools in public so the trade-offs aren't hidden behind a sales pitch. The credibility for this work isn't a certification on a wall — it's the actual project I'm shipping.
I'm currently building a self-hosted AI memory system on a Raspberry Pi — local-first, sovereign, no cloud round-trip — and documenting every decision and trade-off as I go. The full build series is here. If you want to know how I think about data, exposure, and where AI actually belongs, that's the proof of work.
FAQ
- Do you work with our industry?
- Probably. The framework is industry-agnostic — the data-safety questions apply equally to a law firm, a clinic, an accounting practice, or a trades business. The session is tailored to your actual workflows in our pre-call.
- Is this training, or is it consulting?
- It's a working session. Part teaching, part guided discussion. Your team leaves with a shared vocabulary, a decision framework, and the start of a written policy — not a certificate.
- Do we need to know anything about AI beforehand?
- No. The session is built for teams who are already using AI without any formal guidance. Mixed comfort levels in the room are normal and welcome.
- Will you sign an NDA?
- Yes. Standard mutual NDAs are fine. I do not record sessions and I do not retain examples that come up in the room.
- What if our team is bigger than 30?
- Get in touch. Larger teams or multi-location organizations are handled as a custom engagement — we scope it together.
- How soon can you book us in?
- Usually within two to three weeks. Travel-included cities (see Pricing & Travel below) are easiest; further out takes a bit more planning.
Tell me a bit about your team and what you're hoping to get out of the session. I'll get back to you within two business days.
